Because the Association for Independent filMedia (AIM) originally started as a weekly film mixer called Austin Film Meet. AIM continues the highly successful Austin Film Meet tradition every first Monday of the month at Stompin Grounds in hip South Congress in Austin, Texas.
Austin Film Meet Industry Mixers are free to attend and open to anyone with an interest in film, video and new media production industry in Central Texas.
These mixers have been called the best in Texas and are typically attended by anywhere from 70-120 people involved in a wide variety of positions and aspects in the industry.
Arrive at 7pm to get a great beer special and a good spot for the extremely popular Open Mic session.
